Nick Pulis SPM 205 Extra-Credit 11-1-11 Dr. Darryl Gross had a wonderful presentation last class. Within his presentation one of the questions asked was, “Do you believe that college athletes should be paid.” In response Dr. Gross told the class about a new program that will be established into the NCAA, which gives each college athlete 2,000 more dollars onto their scholarship. The question that I next raised was, is this enough? Mike Wilbon, a prominent sports writer, wrote an article asking just this. He was baffled by that fact that colleges are making millions upon millions dollars a year just so that the athletes can be watched on T.V. He

I believe that all athletes should not get the same amount of money. I believe because those who play football, basketball, baseball, or lacrosse makes the most money for the school they should get a little bit more than the other athletes.
