Tim O’Brien FSW 281—B 11/10/10 CDC Observation #2 After being to the child development center a couple times to observe my selected kids, I am now looking for some patterns in their behavior. Diego is a very energetic kid, but does not spend much time around other children during their outside activity. The African American boy, on the other hand, seems to be a fairly social child. He rides his “cycle” (small bike) over to the students observation area and tries to talk to us. I have also noticed that he has a good friend that he is always playing with. Last week, he gave his buddy a hug when his mom was there to pick him up. During this week’s observation I will keep these patterns in mind to see if they are supported or if they change. Diego 4:10 Riding around on his bike as soon as I got there 4:11 He is pulling another kid in a cart that is behind his bike 4:12 The boy that he is pulling around falls out of the cart and hits his head on the concrete 4:12 The boy who hits his head starts to cry
