Students will present articles on current global events or regions that we study. You will present a total of 2 times during the term. Please see the "Student Groups" link to determine which group you are in. Each presentation should last about 3 minutes. Each presentation is worth 5 points (10 total for both) toward your final course grade. If the topic of the day is geography, then present an article on the geography of a region we study. If the topic of the day is Asia, present an article on Asia (make sure it focuses on the geography, history, economics, politics, and/or anthropology of Asia). To receive full credit, the article must be current (2010--) and at least 3 pages in length in 12-point font. For this assignment, please use non-US and non-British news sources. There is a link on Bb for finding non-US news sources. (NOTE: Everyone tends to use UK resources for this assignment; please explore the news & perspectives of other countries).
