Unformatted text preview: Video Reaction Paper: A reaction paper is just what its name suggests—a paper explaining your reaction to the film “ Thirteen”. It may be like a review, because your reaction may involve judgment or evaluation; it will be like an analysis, because your reaction should focus on a particular character, relationship or scene. It is also like a journal entry, in that it presents a personal reaction rather than an attempt to provide either definitive judgments. It differs from a journal entry, though, in that it is a more formal essay, prepared for an audience. This paper should not be a play-by-play of the movie or a particular scene—it is about your analysis of and personal reaction to the movie. The reaction paper should be limited to no less than 3 pages and no more than 4 pages in length. The paper should be double-spaced and typed using traditional 12-point font, and leave one-inch margins on all sides of the paper (so I can read it more easily).
