Start with the visuals and use the text to reinforce/supplement. Lecture Contents Syllabus Kinetics Rates Effect of Concentration on Rate Syllabus This course captures Chapters 13-20. Class grade will be determined as follows: s Exam 1, 20%: Chs 13-14. Wednesday 28-Feb . s Exam 2, 20%: Chs 15-17. Wednesday 28-Mar . s Exam 3, 20%: Chs 18-19. Wednesday 9-May . s Final Exam, 25%: Cumulative, w/ emphasis on Ch 20. Wednesday 23-May, 1720h - 1920h . s Homework and Recitation, 15%: Homework collected and checked for completion. Homework is collected on or before the exam date for the relevant chapter. The recitation is designed to get help and/or check answers to homework problems. Will not really be checking right/wrong answers, just completion. Exams will cover what is covered in the lecture … if it's not in the lecture but it's in the book, it is helpful to know it but we most likely will not be tested on it. Kinetics
