TENTATIVE SYLLABUS Psychology 170–      Psychology of Human Sexuality     This is a  tentative syllabus  to give students information on a course.   Please refer back to the  Registrars’ site for updates when the official syllabus and book info will be posted. Prerequisites :  PSYCH 100 Text:   The text book for this section has not been assigned yet.  Please refer back to the Registrars’  site for updates when official syllabus and book info will be posted. Course description:   Psychological foundations, sexual development and response patterns; male  and female roles; individual and social attitudes, legal issues. Learning Outcomes:  1 Appreciate major theories of human behavior and  development as they relate to the study of sexuality. 2 Understand scientific approaches used in the study of  sexuality. 3 Learn specific information regarding human anatomy and  physiology as related to human sexuality, including  health issues related to sexuality across the life-span 4 Understand major psychological concepts and theories  related to gender, gender identity/roles, attraction and  relationships with others  Attendance : Please make every effort to arrive on time to each class.  Consistent absences or
