It is important during this step to determine the goal in which is to be accomplished. It is important to consider the audience the manual is being written for. The writer in this step also needs to examine the purpose of the manual and it can best be presented. All necessary data, information, and other resources should be collected and gathered in this stage in order to complete the manual. It is important to consider at this stage what tools can be used for completing the manual and how effective they can be, for example any visual tools that can be used in order to convey information. Writing - Create a draft copy of the manual by taking all the gathered information, data, and any visual tools during prewriting stage into written form on paper. When writing a manual it is important to start the reader into a steady progression so they do not get confused and lost within the information and steps provided. It is
