(a) Write the definitions of simple linear regression, quadratic regression and cubic regression models, respectively (b) Fit the above three models using SPSS. (c) Compare model 1 with model 2 by doing an Ftest and a ttest, respectively. (d) Compare model 1 with model 3 by doing an Ftest. (You should understand why the ttest does not work for this question.) (e) Suppose the quadratic regression is being used. Do we need to introduce u1D465 3 into this model?
