Academic achievement is positively related with realistic and high expectation for students school performance. In this essay, I discuss five expectations that can positively influence the secondary math students academic achievement. The first expectation of completing assigned tasks in the specified time frame encompasses in class work as well as homework. When a teacher expects students to submit the assigned work by a deadline, students will adjust their academic habits to accommodate. The ability to produce a certain amount of work within a specified time frame allows for a time frame of instruction to be followed.
