Overview of The Incident T he seemingly normal father of three who shot dead five Amish schoolgirls saying he harbored a guilty sex secret for 20 years. Analysis of The Incident On the day of the shootings, Robert’s had finished his milk delivery run in the early AM hours, and helped his wife get their children ready and off for school. After seeing his own kids off on the school bus, he then headed to the Amish school about a mile away. Prior to the shooting starting Roberts, confessed to his wife Marie on the Armed with quite the collection of ammo and guns, everything from a Ruger bolt-action sports rifle, to a stun gun, from knives to zip ties, showed his intent when he walked into the Georgetown Amish School in Lancaster. He was armed and prepared for a long standoff, so he could act out his dreams, or more so fantasies on the young girls inside that school room.
