Office Hours:  I will be on campus in Lakeland from 8:30-11-30 Mondays,  Tuesdays, and Thursdays, generally speaking.  I may have a meeting or two  stuck in there, so give me a call (or better, an email) to let me know if you plan to  be by.  Also, if you live in, or regularly travel to, South Orlando, we can arrange a  meeting up there as well. You are locked out of an assignment AND you haven’t been able to reach  me via email AND the do-or-die deadline is bearing down on you, and/or It’s between 12 noon and 3pm Monday through Friday, and you want to  chat with me about something course or major or university related.  Remember that if you DO call me, I won’t always be right next to my  computer, so I may not have insta-answers for you. One more thing:  If your phone number is caller ID blocked, I won’t answer  it.  Leave me a message and I will get back to you. REALLY IMPORTANT NOTE THAT I COULDN’T FIGURE OUT WHERE ELSE  TO PUT: Knowing that my students have thoroughly read my syllabus is very  important.  Knowing that they’ve read and understood my policies is an  essential part of this.  As such, I have a standing policy that all students in  my courses must acknowledge that they have read and agree to abide by  my syllabus, before I evaluate any of their work or assign them a grade.  Accordingly, you are required to email me with your written acceptance of  the terms of this syllabus.  A short email with the subject line “ISS3013

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

I cannot even describe how much Course Hero helped me this summer. It’s truly become something I can always rely on and help me. In the end, I was not only able to survive summer classes, but I was able to thrive thanks to Course Hero.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
