Paging Implementation of VM used by modern operating systems. The unit of memory that is swapped in and out is a page Paging divides the memory in pages of fixed size. Usually the size of a page is 4KB in the Pentium (x86) architecture and 8KB in the Sparc Ultra Architecture.
