Please explain your solutions sufficiently for full credit. Q1 = 30%, Q2 = 35%, Q3 = 35% 1. In order to reduce pollutant emissions, it is common to mix hydrocarbon fuels with methanol. Consider a fuel blend consisting of 170 kg of diesel fuel (C 12 H 26 ) and 64 kg of methanol (CH 3 OH). When this fuel mixture is burned in excess air, it is observed that the water in the products start condensing at 45 °C at atmospheric pressure. (i) Determine the equivalence ratio for this combustion process. (ii) If the same combustion products are further cooled to 30 °C, what percentage of the water in the products will be in the liquid phase (condensed)?
