An example of the Yerkes - Dodson law is seen when a difficult task (such as learning to drive) is easy to accomplish with input of stimuli (parent offering advice) until too much stimuli is given (mother yelling to slam the brakes, oh dear god, slam the brakes we're going to hit that house). 4.
