Week 3 Discussion Question 5 Describe two sources of anxiety you have about being in college. What are some of your concerns? Describe how you will address them. The two sources of anxiety I have about being in college are doing well at all the exams, and being able to handle studying along with working and family times together, I am concerned that I may not have enough time to complete the studies and assignments as they get more difficult, and not handling the pressure of the exams as they come up. The good news is that I am well aware of this and working towards keeping it under control by planning ahead to minimize any anxiety, I have come up with a time schedule that allows me to set specific time after finishing work for studying and spending time with family. By doing so I think I will be most prepared for the final exams and should be able to do well. Unformatted text preview: and assignments, are we giving the right answers, at the right time, al of the this can defiantly put us under pressure, but that is not to say pressure is always bad, actually it can be a good thing sometimes, it can push us do better and prepare us for the final exams. Do your anxiety eases off as the courses progresses through the weeks? Richard, I have to agree with you, one of the main causes of anxiety is the unknown, not knowing exactly what to expect or what is going to happen when we get there can cause us a tremendous amount of worry, we can turn a simple task into a huge problem even before it happens and that can easily make us panic. I think the key solution is to relax and prepare our self by staying on top of our daily workload.
