Sitong Jia Professor Singh Business 10 16 October 2011 Extra Credit Assignment: Warren Buffett and Bill Gates After watching this Q&A with these two business leaders, I have learned a great amount regarding investing. For starters, I have realized that I should invest in industries and companies that I believe in, or as Mr. Buffett puts it, invest in what “turns you on”. Also I feel like what Mr. Buffett had mentioned about seeing a robin, and how when you finally do spot one, spring will have already come. This teaches me to act ahead of time and more importantly, I feel like he is trying to say that when you are able to confident about the future, you will not end up waiting for opportunity to pass you. As the program moved along, I found the quotes at the bottom of the screen showing quotes from both Bill and Warren contained very important advice. Bill once said that though “it is fine to celebrate success, what is more important is to remember the lessons we heed from failures.” While this is a very important philosophy in not only investment,
