Yes people can be marketed and it happens every day. A classic example would be when we write up a resume. A resume is a nothing more than a very wordy billboard telling employers to invest in this guy or gal. On our resume billboard we pronounce eloquently why the consumer (employee) must invest in us by showing them why we are better than all the other products that are out there. In the military we market ourselves for promotion by preparing our promotion records for a board of senior ranking Soldiers to look over.

Unformatted text preview: Out of thousands of records on a few hundred or so will get promoted. I learned a long time ago that you have to market yourselves in order to be highly competitive. We seek self-improvement by getting degrees, certifications and seeking other forms of education. I think that I would segment myself as the kind of person that is hard working, fast learning and not afraid of getting dirty. I am also just as comfortable behind a desk as I am working on a car....
