I don’t agree that managerial accounting is a field of accounting that provides economic information for all interested parties, given that all interested parties include internal users and external users. In fact, managerial accounting should focus on providing data for internal users, such as managers. For the purpose of internal uses, the manager does not need to have the same kinds of information as needed by external users, such as stockholders.
