Answer ONE of the following Questions: 1- Explain FOUR main characteristics of the early movies styles in the Lumières brothers & Méliès fashion. Illustrate each characteristic with an example from each director. For instance, compare camera movement or its absence, aesthetics of theatre, acting style, rhythm of movement within frame or in editing, or any other characteristics. You need for each point of comparison an example from The Lumières and one from Méliès. Overall then, you need eight examples, which can come from one or more films per director. 2- Identify FOUR characteristics (aesthetic, narrative, and/ or thematic)
