WAL-MART Stores, Inc. (WMT) Research Report Alexis Wardlaw Company Information Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. is a discounted retailer with products within the Consumer  Staples sector of the economic market. From car tires to baby diapers, Wal-Mart has  products for every need; they also offer banking and financial services, money wiring  services and even pharmacy and optical services. With over 2,100,000 employees  worldwide, Wal-Mart serves consumers in 28 different countries through supermarkets,  hypermarkets, restaurants, Sam’s Club, appeal stores and online retailing. Their  competition includes companies such as Costco, Target, Macys and Family Dollar,  which are all organizations that provide their consumers with reliable low prices during  economic downfalls. At the end of the last quarter, Wal-Mart’s gross profit was $27.596  billion dollars, which increased by 5.40% compared to the previous quarter.  Quarterly  earnings growth is currently 5.70% while their profit margin in 3.87% which means Wal- Mart Stores, Inc is in good standing this quarter. Future of WMT The future of Wal-Mart is a bright one with its Vudu Service reaching #3 in the  streaming market. The Vudu service offers high quality streams of movies at a
