2. The leads of a resistor in an RF circuit are 5 cm Aluminum AWG 14.  ( σ AL  = 4.0 x 10 7  S/m).  Compute the DC resistance and the AC resistance and  inductance at 1 GHz.
3. Design an impedance matching network for cordless phone narrow band  circuits at 3.1 GHz that will have a nodal Q of 3.  The load has an  impedance of Z L  = 18 –j35 and the load must be matched to 50  Ω .  There  is no limit to the number of elements you can use.  Be sure to draw your  final circuit with the components clearly labeled.  Use a smith chart.
