Nelson Robert Nelson Lester Embree PHI2010 04/22/11 Marxism Karl Marx’s started his philosophy on how social issues should be handled. Society connects to everything in our lives, which include politics. He believes with unity, society would be best off. It’s in our best interest to have no separation of people, and those well off should sacrifice some to help the poor, making us all equal and have a standard way of living. Marxism has an effect on politics as well since that has a great effect on society. Marxism is basically the philosophy of communism, which is a political view and some aspects of it is good, but like any political view it is not perfect. Karl Marx viewed the best social structure as one based most on focusing on the less well off, so no one would be considered in the low class. His view is really to abolish any class separation. Marxism is a political or philosophical doctrine based on the writings of Karl Marx; politically a form of communism, philosophically a form of materialism known as dialectical materialism
