Robert Nelson PEM 1145 Paper 1 9/15/11 Preventing Muscle Cramps Our bodies are complex and many things happen at once to do what we want it to do. As well as having the ability to do things, some things can prevent us from doing things we want to do such as injuries, which comes with its own categories. The same injury may have even more categories. A muscle cramp is one injury that can be caused by many different reasons and has different categories to name or group some of these cases. It can be caused during physical activity and when not moving at all. Muscle cramps can be cause by diseases, exercises, and even just a persons physical fitness. They can happen at any time of day. The most common muscle cramp with everyone, happens when doing physical activity. Jogging for extended period of times, especially when not done after many weeks or just out of shape can cause cramps to hit the muscles, before the work out is done or even half a day has passed since the workout. Luckily there are remedies
