Robert Nelson PEM 1145 10/27/11 Fitness Improvements There are many factors to consider when improving fitness for health and more efficiency in physical activity, such as the right foods and proper exercise. Do something enough times and you will get better at it, and taking in good sources of energy will output more work. As a person exercises more, the better the body becomes at efficiently taking in and using oxygen; muscles become stronger and able to do more work over a period of time and do more work for a longer time. Proper exercise includes even the stretch and warm up before a workout. More efficient exercising will improve overall fitness. Specific foods help supply the body with energy and better performance. Magnesium helps with the proper use in energy and potassium can keep the muscles performing well without cramps or too much strain. Water is definitely important to help prevent negative effects of physical activity on the body mainly dehydration. This is what I learned as I take fitness more seriously and improve in it.
