Nelson Robert Nelson Lester Embree PHI2010 04/08/11 Environmental Feminism Feminism is movement for the equality of women and men; the empowerment of women so they would have the same rights. There are obvious issues where the movement would certainly work in women’s favor such as women’s right to vote, creating a women’s sports league, and preventing sexism. However, in ethics the ideas of men and women seem to differ, and these ethics affect us all around, which is our environment. Adding more of a women’s view in ethics broadens it so we can have a more accurate standpoint. Ethics is made up of the principles that we live by. It is defined as a moral philosophy. Ethics can be described as the study of morality so that we can get closer to a universal law on morality. Not only would a woman’s view be important for making ethics, it would be ethical to include women, because we all should be included when composing ethics that affect all of us.
