The Works Cited Page Use 12 point Times New Roman Font throughout One-inch margins Centered, at the top, write: Works Cited (no underline, no bold, no italics) Double-space throughout (no extra spaces between entries, no extra spaces beneath the title) Use a hanging indent. This means the first line of every entry will be flush with the left margin; if the entry goes over the first line, all subsequent lines are tabbed over one time.

Who’s Name Goes First? When working with a text that names more than one author, place the authors names in the order in which they appear on the title page. Tricky Books: Tips Italize all book titles, including their subtitles When looking for the title, do not use what is on the cover of the book…open it, go to the actual title page, and that’s your title. You MUST include all subtitles on this page as well. Add a colon after the main title to signify what follows is a subtitle. Abbreviate the names of publishers.
