Jake Smith Dr. Frisby CIS 110 11-2-11 Self-Critique In my speech I did some positive things and some things that were not so positive. Looking back made me realize I did certain things that I had not even noticed while I was presenting. Seeing myself replayed was strange but helpful. Starting with the positive, I had good qualities in my speech. I addressed all my main points that I wanted to. I used the information that was in my outline. I did not look at my note cards very often, except to read my quotes. I had a clear voice that was audible to the audience. I used my PowerPoint and addressed my pictures. In addition I concealed and revealed my pictures at appropriate moments. I did not use slang, or words that could be potentially insulting or offensive to the audience. I used the proper amount of time. I did not freak out and forget what I was saying. Though there were many good things about my speech, I was not perfect, obviously, and there were some rocky areas. Some things that did not go so well in my speech would include my rate.
