A solid spherical dielectric (non-conducting) dielectric of radius R is uniformly charged with total charge Q . a) Calculate the total electric flux through the largest cubic surface that will fit entirely inside the sphere. b) Calculate the total electric flux through a cubic surface of side R with one of its corner located at the center of sphere. 3. A circular ring of charge of radius a and uniform charge density encircles a conducting sphere of radius b ( a > b ). The center of the ring coincides with the center of the sphere. Determine the charge density and location of the image charge for this configuration.
