A fundamental challenge in chemistry is to determine the arrangement of atoms in a molecule in order to elucidate its bonding, geometry, and properties. For this weeks learning I have found that humans are in the endothermy family, because we are mammals that, produce our own heat through the metabolic breakdown of food. This heat is mostly a by-product of the inefficiency of the anabolism and catabolism occurring in the cells of the body. My greatest interest that I found in the DQ was the findings of chemical properties and physical.

Unformatted text preview: Chemical properties are when substances change its composition. For example, when iron rusts or when ice melt. The iron molecules interact with the natural air around it, which changes it into an iron oxide. Endothermic and exothermic reactions are reaction that we see in our everyday lifes. An endothermic reaction is a chemical reaction that gives off energy. An exothermic is also a chemical reaction that gives off energy in the form of light or sound. I really enjoyed my learning experience this week....
