Like all the other DQ questions I have thoroughly enjoyed learning about how acid rain has come about as well as how does over-the-counter calcium carbonate or magnesium carbonate antacid medications work. Begin an individual that has had heartburn and have known others that have dealt with different forms of acid indigestion, and sour stomach. I have found out that Calcium Carbonate/Magnesium Carbonate is an antacid. It works by neutralizing the acid in the stomach. When SO2 and NO2 are sent into the air the clouds and precipitation collect the harmful molecules as the rain cleans the air. Once the precipitation collects the acids the water itself becomes acidic. When it rains the acid within the rain falls on forests and bodies of water.
