2010 NJ Chronological Elections Guide Secretary of State’s Letter 3 Dear Fellow New Jersey Citizens: I am pleased to present the 2010 Chronological Guide for Elections. It con- tains valuable information about the elections process, including critical dates and deadlines throughout the year. In New Jersey, registered voters will cast ballots for the annual school board elections held in April, the non-partisan municipal elections held in May, the party primary elections in June, and the general election held in November. Participating in the democratic process by voting is not only one of our most important rights, it is a civic responsibility. As the state’s chief election of±cial, I am committed to continuing to work with county of±cials to make the election process in New Jersey as inclusive and accessible as possible.
