Unformatted text preview: The role of the database administrator in our database is to create backups and recovery of data, assure user management, maintenance and ensuring easy availability of required data. The tasks of the database administrator are numerous and provide great support to the data analysis, data handling and effective functioning of database management systems. The database administrator will handle the procedure of creating backup records and recovery of the information contained in the database on the system. This involves setting up an automatic backup and to believe that the backup is going through according to plan. The database administrator will check the backup files to see if the information is complete, and that saved files can be accessed and loaded in the event something happens to the TeamMovies database. The recovery of information depends on the situation in which the database fails. In some situations we could use the backward recovery which is the undoing of unwanted changes...
