Distribution B has the smallest value (20) of both distributions; it also has the largest value (112). The average value of distribution A appears to be greater than that of distribution B. Neither distribution has any outliers, and neither distribution has gaps or clusters. Both distributions contain the same number of data values (54). 2. First,enter the data into a list in the TI-83/4 calculator. Sorting the numbers is not necessary but allowed. Set up two plots, one boxplot and the other a histogram plot. Set window parameters so both graphs are visible at the same time. Also calculate the mean, standard deviation, and 5-number summary. The boxplot shows two outliers, 995 and 1210.
