Firefox: (4.5) Firefox offers all the basic features of a standard web browser and a few additional attributes to set it apart. Some of these features are tabbed web browsing, spell check, live bookmarking, location-aware browsing, private browsing and a download manager. Google integrated services allow for the location-aware browsing as Firefox features a Google search box at the top of the browser. This search box also has a dropdown option for direct searching through Yahoo, Bing, Amazon, eBay and Wikipedia as well. One other notable feature is the ability to view recently closed tabs and windows as well as the capability to restore the previous session. This feature can be especially useful if the web browser unexpectedly quits for various reasons. Google Chrome: (4.5) Chrome utilizes all of Google’s features to differentiate it from competing web browsers. Chrome’s main feature to set it apart from other browsers is the unique “Omnibox” feature. The Omnibox allows a user to search in the URL box located at the top of the browser.
