IST 195 Spring 2011 Lab #4 IST 195 Lab 4: Computer Hardware Title of lab: Computer Hardware Learning goals: To become familiar with the appearances and functions of various internal components of a personal computer and to lay the groundwork for future capability to service a personal computer through replacement of components. Upon completing this lab, you should be familiar with the following: o Identifying the major hardware components of a computer o Describing one, or more, functions of each hardware component o Identifying and describing one, or more, precautions one should consider when building a computer o Pricing a computer Submission Instructions: You are required to submit this MS Word Document (.doc/.docx) to blackboard by 5PM on Friday 9/23 . Be sure that the file name of your submission includes your last name (i.e. lab4seymour.docx).
