Not only have they changed their name from the Florida Marlins to the Miami Marlins; their new $634 million ballpark is ready for the 2012 season. The Miami Marlins have acquired new players, have new uniforms with new team colors, and have a new revenue plan. Never before have the Marlins been so active on the free-agent market. Upon unveiling a new ball park the Miami Marlins plan on unveiling the best product in franchise history. How our article relates to this week’s topics This week’s topic focused on creating a mission statement and establishing goals and objectives. As stated in the summary statement the Miami Marlins have created a new mission statement for their revamped franchise.
