100ms or 1 ms 100ms or 1 ms Indicates the intervals at which the meter will sample the circuit when using the MIN-MAX mode. Notice the AUTO feature is off in both of these modes. The newer models; Fluke 87 Series III, and Fluke 87 Series V, have a 250µs (4000 samples per second) mode. You must manually range the meter by pressing the RANGE button to an appropriate range for the expected circuit measurement before entering either MIN-MAX mode. The meter's rotary switch can be in any position to use this feature.
