NARRATIVE ESSAY 2 An Event in My Life Where I Misjudged a Situation Trust is the basic foundation for a strong, long-lasting relationship. I count myself lucky to have a friend that I can unconditionally share my personal experiences and dreams. In the course of this friendship, we have had misunderstandings but the fact that we are both committed to each other makes it possible to solve conflicts and grow together. However, there is this one instance that I was certain our mutually-beneficial friendship had come to an end. I misjudged my friend’s intentions but I am glad I realized the mistake before it was too late to undo the damage. Given that conflicts are a part of life and everyone is bound to make mistakes, I believe it is important to uphold trust and open communication to avoid making mistakes that may cost long-term friendships.
