Hz Button Frequency is the number of cycles (repetitions) of an electrical waveform in a given amount of time. Hertz (Hz) is the unit of measurement for Frequency. Hertz refers to the number of cycles in one second. The Hz button has two functions: If the Hertz (Hz) button is pressed once while measuring AC/DC voltage, the frequency of the voltage cycle will be displayed. The frequency range is from 0.01 Hz to 200 kHz.
