Testing TransistorsTesting Bi-Polar TransistorsTesting transistors is much like testing diodes. Think of a transistor as being two diodes connected togetherat the transistor's base. Transistors should be tested two different ways. A resistance check from base to emitter and from base to collector in both directions. Forwardbiased should show a very high resistance, reverse biased diodes should show "OL".A barrier voltage check (diode test feature) in both directions.
