Summary of previous lecture Examples on applying KCL and KVL; Resistor combinations; Voltage and current division; Redraw circuits (topographic transforms).
Nodal and Loop Analysis (very simple example) Known: all elements; Goal: solve nodal voltages and branch currents. How many nodes? Can we find their voltages directly? How many loops? Can we find their currents directly? Use KCL to solve unknown node voltages. Use KVL to solve unknown loop currents. Nodal and Loop Analysis can solve the same problem in different ways.
