UNIVERSITY TECHNOLOGY TRAINING CENTER 1 Introduction to the Grade Book Moodle’s Grade Book is a column structure that aggregates grades from already existing site activities. Each time you create a graded activity from the Add an Activity menu in your course, a new column for that item is automatically added to the Grade Book. Additionally, in the current version of Moodle, you can add graded items directly into the Grade Book itself. In this lesson, you will: View the Grade Book as an instructor View the Grade Book as a student Navigate through the Grade Book Add an activity to the Grade Book Learn about entering grades Hide the link to the Grade Book Hide individual activities from students in the Grade Book Viewing the Grade Book as an Instructor As students complete an activity, their scores are automatically pushed to
