March 30, 2011 Dear Ms. Boquiren, For the next two months I will be helping out in your classroom. My background in your subject includes all the years of history I have taken at Preuss. I have passed all of my AP exams that involve history with a 4 and have received A’s in my history classes my entire high school career. I received the departmental award for history in ninth grade and really love the subject. Although I never had you as a teacher I always wish I had. I have been warned by previous students who tutored in your class and by you as well that it is not an easy class to handle. However, I feel like I am up for the challenge. I tend to make a big impact on younger kids, but freshman might be just a little too old. Still, I feel like I can handle them.
