The subject that I have had the most difficulty with is History. In most of my other classes as long as I did my homework and made sure I understood the topic I would be able to get A’s on my tests and A’s in the class. However, history was a completely different story for me. There are many factors that made history a more difficult subject for me like the amount of homework, the fact that there is no clearly defined answer, and simply my lack of interest. Luckily, after a talk with my advisory teacher I was able to reverse the direction of my grade and learned how to help myself do better in the class. In tenth grade I noticed that my grade in Advanced Placement European History began to drop. I feel that the reasons this happened were that I had just simply too much to do. This class left us readings of up to 18 textbook pages a night and that was simply too much for me at that time. I was in sports and had to stay afterschool so I wouldn’t get home until late, then to have to do my notes on top of that was very bothersome to me. Another reason my grade was dropping is that there was no clearly defined answer in this class. Being a math and science kind of guy I like
