Adrian 1 Adrian Gil Mrs. Garcia Research 12 January 24 2011 I. The Introduction A. It’s the holiday season and you want to visit your family on the other side of the country. You go to the airport to get on a plane, but they tell you that if you want to get one you must either let someone stick their hand down your pants or take a health hazardous picture that will show you completely naked. B. Many writers for famous newspapers have often written about this topic and expressed their views on how useless the TSA agents are. Ariel Kaminer from the New York Times even went down to an airport and conducted her own experiments. Leon Kaufman who has a Ph.D says that they are highly hazardous machines. Researcher John Sedat from a university in San Francisco sent a letter to the government telling them how the scanners may be highly hazardous. C. The problem is that the U.S. is wasting a lot of money on keeping the scanners and pat downs when in reality they are only hurting the public and wasting our time. D. Transportation Security Administrations full body scanners and enhanced pat-downs
