Statistics 400 Lab #8 Objectives: The objective of this lab is to perform and analyze an experiment based on a randomized block design. Summary measures and plots should be used to provide insight into the underlying scientific problem. ANOVA is used to conduct formal hypothesis tests. Instructions: 1. The problem description is on the following pages. Read it carefully and use the methods discussed in lectures to address all of the problems. 2. Use ANOVA to answer the questions. Use plots and summary statistics to support your conclusions. 3. Write a report addressing the issues involved in the study. Make sure to include a purpose statement, describe the data collection procedure, outline the analysis and present a thoughtful conclusion. The Lab report is due in lab in 2 weeks.
