Prime Time Fieldwork Project 01:21 Students congregate outside lecture hall in Humanities building Me: when do you go in? Jessica: when someone is brave enough to be the first to step inside. Sometimes we like to do that Walk inside, and Jessica wants to get a “good” seat We sit near the isle in the fourth row A band is set up in the front with a huge projector screen Eventually, the entire lecture hall is full of students, chatting excitedly Starts with worship music The lights are dimmed and everyone stands Sang three upbeat worship songs “Glorious” “I’ll Stand” “Never Let go” Everyone sings loudly, some sway from side to side, some clap their hands, everyone looks like they are comfortable Each participant seems to know every words, even though the projector screen has all the lyrics Jessica: I know it sounds funny, but I try not to sing too loud because I don’t want people to hear how bad my voice sounds Speaker (who is a senior at the UW) welcomes everyone Explains that there is a lot to do tonight
