Mitchell Levin September 8 th , 2008 Wild Chicago There were many challenges I faced during rock climbing. The first challenge I faced was being a belay. I couldn’t pull the rope fast enough when Nico or Sean were climbing. This could’ve been a problem. If Nico or Sean would’ve slipped, they would of fell straight to the ground because the rope wasn’t tight enough. I overcame this problem by learning the right technique to Belay. This eliminated any problems if Sean or Nico fell. Another challenge I faced was probably climbing the wall. It was very difficult because some of the pegs in the walls were too round so I couldn’t get a good gripe. I barely got half way before I fell. I overcame this challenge by setting a reasonable goal on the wall. Once I got to the point on the wall, I kept going. This felt good because I was able to accomplish my goal and a little more. Our team worked pretty well together. We first established an order of who goes first and what job each person does. We each got a turn at each position. We didn’t have
