Mitchell Levin September 07, 2008 Wild Chicago During our tour of Chicago, we visited the Board of Trade and Streetwise. These two places are very different, but both have many things in common. Each place deals with people who are trying to make money. The difference is that the people at the Board of Trade try to make hundreds of thousands of dollars to millions of dollars. The people who are selling Streetwise’s newspaper usually make enough income to have a roof over their heads and the basic needs. It was clearly seen on our tour at the Chicago Board of Trade that the traders were really nervous. When we walked out of the building we saw a lot of traders smoking cigarettes. When people are nervous and/or dealing with stress, they tend to smoke cigarettes to calm their nerves down. The people who sell Streetwise newspapers also deal with stress. They usually worry that they might not sell enough newspapers to support themselves or their families. People say that those that work at the Board of Trade could end up the next day
