Journal Entry 1 Saturday, September 29 nd and Saturday, October 6 th 10:00 A .M - 1:00 PM The first two weeks of Northbrook/Deerfield Park District Taekwondo Session, I got to meet all the kids and their parents . There were 4 different age classes I had to help instruct with . The kids ranged from 3-12 year olds. I had to tie all the kids’ taekwondo belts and the beginning of the class and whenever their belts would fall off . In the beginning, tying belts wasn’t that bad, but it got annoying after awhile . For example, there was a kid named Chris, his belt would fall off every fice minutes . He would always ask me to it for him . Even though he was four years old, I figured he would know how to tie his own belt . Another task I had to do was to hold kicking pads for kids to kick. I fairly enjoyed this task because it was difficult, but I didn’t tell the kids to kick . The head instructor was the person who told the kids to kick . Some other things I had to do were actually teach the kids their curriculum
